Beyond Search: AI as a Partner in Library Services

The rapid rise of AI tools is compelling libraries to re-evaluate their existing services. In the near future, simply providing web-based services may no longer be sufficient. Users will expect a smart, digital library that can answer complex questions, find books from vague descriptions, and even discuss the contents of a digitized newspaper article. This talk will share the experience of the National Library of Latvia in adopting AI solutions, offering a glimpse into what a future powered by AI might look like for libraries.
