Tuuliki Tõiste

Tallinn University of Technology Library, Development Manager, Estonian Librarians’ Association (ELA), President

She received her bachelor’s degree in library and information science and her master’s degree in information management from Tallinn University. Tuuliki has 25 years of work experience in the field of library science. She has been working in the areas of customer service, acquisition, and data management. She started her career in a public library as the head of a branch library and later took the position of the head of the acquisition department. After a little break, she started working at the university library as the head of the library services centre, where she was responsible for developing and managing library services. Since July 2020, Tuuliki is the development manager of Tallinn University of Technology Library. Her main focus of her professional activities is the university library role and position in the time of e-resources and AI. Tuuliki has been a member of the Estonian Librarians’ Association since 2004 and a member of the ELA Board since 2015. In March 2020, she was elected the President of the ELA Board.
